How a Munich Start-Up makes the World a Safer Place
SwiftAlarm! allows you to call for help at the touch of a button and offers a patented solution to prosecute and convict sexual offenders
The Munich-based Start-Up SwiftAlarm! has set itself the task of no longer leaving the subject of "personal security" to politics. No matter if health problems, violence and sexual assaults against women and children - SwiftAlarm! provides security worldwide. With the free app not only criminal offences are prevented. The company also offers a new and patented solution for storing traces left behind by the attacker and handing them over to the police for securing evidence.
Safer with just one click
At night on a deserted road or in the wrong area, and suddenly you see strange figures? Alone at home and you hear suspicious noises? Or maybe you "only" fell stupidly and need help to stand up? Exactly for situations like the SwiftAlarm! Emergency Call System is made: to feel safe yourself, or to know your loved ones are safe. What sounds complex is quite simple: load the free SwiftAlarm! SOS App to your mobile phone, set it up and the protective umbrella is open. If you find yourself in an emergency situation, you can send a call for help including your current whereabouts via text message to your emergency contacts and the SwiftAlarm! Schutzengel CallCenter, which is manned around the clock.
This is how the patented protection works
The SOS app can be combined with the "NoPanic Set" ™, which consists of a remote control and a siren. In case of an attack, the pocket alarm is thrown in front of the attacker's feet and sounds with an alarm signal of up to 120 db (A). Once the sensor is activated, it's fast: friends and family are alerted, the SwiftAlarm! Schutzengel CallCenter informs the police. When trying to turn off the siren, the fingerprints and DNA of the perpetrator are stored. The SwiftAlarm! Emergency Call System is a "Digital Weapon" that cannot be directed against the victim himself. "Our goal is to close the evidence gap in German criminal law with this patent," explains Dr. Rudolf King, founder of SwiftAlarm. "We do not need stricter laws against sex offenders. Rather, we need to provide evidence to the courts to convict more offenders and at least temporarily keep them behind closed doors. This is only possible if society, companies, the police and the courts work together," King continued.
SwiftAlarm! - Who invented it?
Over several years, Dr. Rudolf King has developed SwiftAlarm! into a comprehensive security system that is second to none. The technical functionality and accessibility is more assured than with any other product. The founder also has a patent library with currently 21 patents, all of which deal with security. "I looked at my family and thought about, how I could protect my parents and sister, even if I wasn't there," explains the entrepreneur from Munich. Before founding the Start-Up, he had already successfully built up and managed several companies and made his fortune as a Real Estate Developer. Most recently, he bought a nursing company and quickly turned it into the largest private outpatient nursing service in Munich. According to Dr. King, the trend is rising: "Only Caritas and the Red Cross are even bigger here, but they also had a 108-year lead". Of course, all 100 employees wear the SwiftAlarm! Emergency Call System, are available for patients and they can also use the Start-Up Service free of charge.
In the meantime, Swiftalarm! has grown into a team of dedicated people, who work around the world to improve the safety of individuals and actively combat rape. The head office is located in Munich.
SwiftAlarm! also supports the initiative "RockAgainstRape" (RAR for short). On October 26, 2018, Munich grew loud against rape. RAR is an initiative of the rock musician Ali Khan.
